Project summary
The AFPPE called on our animation studio to create a 2D animated video to present the profession of radio manipulator. The video explores their important role in the healthcare system, the skills they bring, and the wealth of opportunities in this field.

Need
Through a 2D animation video, the AFPPE wanted to highlight the essential and versatile role of the radio manipulator. The aim was to show the human dimension that these professionals bring to patient care during medical imaging procedures, as well as their ability to work in a constantly evolving technological environment.
Solution
In a close collaboration with the AFPPE, we have developed a video script that presents the evolution of radiography, ending with the role of the radio manipulator. The video highlights their expertise in handling advanced equipment, understanding human anatomy, contributing to disease detection, patient treatment and research.

Concept
& Ideas
Sketches
Our sketches trace the history of radiology, highlighting key moments and culminating in the current role of the radio manipulator. Each sketch has been designed to provide clear, attractive images of complex scenarios involving advanced medical equipment and patient interaction.
Storyboard
Our storyboard was a visual journey, starting with the discovery of X-rays and moving through the main stages of radiology. It featured radio manipulators in a variety of roles: reassuring patients, operating machines, studying medical images, handling radioactive substances and more.
Colors
Our color palette is inspired by medical imaging – a fusion of soft whites, blues and grays, punctuated by bright colors representing the different roles of the radio manipulator. This vibrant contrast brings energy and warmth to the technical environment.
Textures
We used a combination of textures to create a realistic environment. For example, grain and noise textures were used to illustrate the X-rays, and a smooth, glossy texture was used for the advanced medical equipment, adding depth to our 2D illustrations.
Illustrations
The illustrations created by our team have brought the story of the radio manipulator to life. Whether operating complex machines, examining medical images or interacting with patients, each illustration was deliberately designed to portray the radio manipulator as a superhero in the medical field.
Animated samples
The AFPPE and Pharos Digital worked together to create a video promoting the profession of radio manipulator. Amine was very available and attentive to our needs, and the whole studio was full of suggestions for a final rendering that suited us perfectly.
